Mr. Pradeep Baba Madhok of Varanasi, India has been appointed as the President of the ASIAN BODYBUILDING & PHYSIQUE SPORTS FEDERATION (ABBF) with immediate effect. ABBF is delighted of Baba's acceptance and he will work closely with President Bulat , WBPF and ABBF Council members in promoting our sport in Asia.
Certainly his willingness to volunteer his time, effort and money, has contributed to being selected for this honorable post.

Mexico joined WBPF today 22.10.2016. Soon there will be more from South American countries affiliating to World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation. Mr. Manuel Solano Torres is the President of the Mexican Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation. He sent the membership from WMPF secretariat dated 20th October 2016. Provisional membership has been granted to Mexico to enable them to participate in all our WBPF sanctioned competitions.

Mr. Manuel will be attending with a team of bodybuilding to the WBPF 1st Vienna Pro on 17th November 2016 in Austria and will consider attending our 8th WBPF World Championships in Pattaya, Thailand from 29th November to 5th December 2016. Again, we wish to thank our Dear ABBAF Patron Mr. Baba Madhok and Prince Uppal of India for their assistance in this district.

Today on 19th October, 2016, URUGUAY has joined WBPF and we welcome them to our family. It is headed by President Jose Antonio Osta Vazqvez and his Committee,  and they have great athletes who shall be participating in the 8th World Bodybuilding Championships in Pattaya, Thailand.

WBPF granted Uruguay provisional membership and shall be confirming their application for official acceptance in the Congress at Pattaya. President Bulat Mergaliev and members of the Executive Council of WBPF warmly welcome Uruguay Bodybuilding and Fitness Association to our family.

We wish to register our appreciation to Mr. Baba Madhok, Patron of ABBF and Prince Uppal our dear friend from India for bringing Uruguay to our fold.

The Republic of Ghana under a new Management Committee led by Mr.Michael Elikplim Atubra sought affiliation to WBPF.  Ghana Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Association  has been granted the provisional membership.
Our sincere thanks to Mr. Baba Madhok, Patron of ABBF and to  his colleague Prince Uppal of India for their untiring effort to bring this federation into our family. Ghana is seriously considering to participate in the WBPF 8TH WORLD BODYBUILDING AND PHYSIQUE SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS to be held in Pattaya, Thailand from 29th November to 5th December 2016.
