Brief History of Uzbekistan

Welcome to Uzbekistan – the crossroads of the civilization and the heart of Central Asia. The center of ancient caravan routes with 2500 years of history to explore. General information about Uzbekistan

Most of the territory of Uzbekistan is occupied by plains (about four fifth of its territory). To the east and north-east of the country there are ranges of the Tien Shan and Pamir, here – the highest point of the country (4643 m). In the north, central part of the territory of Uzbekistan is one of the largest deserts in the world – the Kyzyl Kum.
Majorly sharp-continental. The temperature difference between the seasons is quite significant. Average winter temperature is 6 C below in July the average temperature rises above 35C.
The population of Uzbekistan is more than 30 million people. In terms of population, Uzbekistan holds the third place among the CIS countries and first among the States of the Central Asia. Almost 80% of its population is the Uzbeks, Uzbekistan multiethnic country-it is home to over 100 nationalities where the Russian consist of 5.5%, Tajiks 5%, Kazakhs 3%, Karakalpak 2.5%, Tatar 1.5% and other 2.5%.

From April 22 to 28, 2015 Datuk Paul Chua, Secretary-General of Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation (ABBF) and Mr. Sugree Supawarikul, Asst. Secretary of ABBF did the Inspection of the venues of the Tashkent Cultural Theatre which has a seating capacity of over 1000 and the Miran International Hotel in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The theatre is of international standard and the 5 Star Hotel one of the best hotel in the country with large bed rooms, a gym and swimming pool.

Brief History of Tashkent

Tashkent city is renowned for its eastern bazars and various shopping places where you can feel and experience eastern shopping atmosphere. Here you can find various goods and services for tourists and guest of the capital city of the Republic of Uzbekistan. People are warm and friendly.
      Kukeldash Medressa This Quran School was built in the 16th century during the reign of Abdulla-Khan by the vizier scientist and poet Kulbobo Kukeldash, Kukeldash means “the Khan’s foster brother”. Kukeldash Medressa is one of the largest and best-preserved Quran schools in Central Asia.
     Amir Temur Museum The Museum, which was opened in 1996 and become one of the top sightseeing places in Tashkent, holds the collection of the archaeological, ethnographic and numismatic materials, ornaments, military ammunition, items that belong to the period of Amir Temur’s Empires
     Independence Square The largest square in Tashkent is more like a large park than a square. With several monuments and fountains, surrounded by impressive public buildings and filled with trees and flowerbeds, the Independence Square in Tashkent is a showcase of modern Uzbekistan.
